The Veterans Administration recently increased its one-time Automobile and Special Adaptive Equipment Grant Program to $19,850 (effective October 1, 2012). The VAF is a nonprofit corporation established to operate transitional housing programs for military vets who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The VAF provides supportive services and transitional housing for vets from all over the United States.
