We determine each person’s needs, then select and professionally install quality adaptive equipment from a variety of reliable vendors to meet those needs. To ensure safety and stay current with modern products, standards and guidelines, we regularly attend vendor certification training.
Based in Worthington Ohio (just north of Columbus), we are in the heart of Ohio. Though many of our customers are in the Columbus Ohio area, we also serve many people several hours drive from our facility.

Scott Grassett - CMS Owner
Scott R Grassette is the owner of Columbus Mobility Specialists Inc., a family owned and operated business providing mobility options for the disabled community in Ohio. He is a husband, father of four and grandfather of six (soon to be seven) grandchildren.
Mr. Grassett got his start building handicap accessible vans at Falcon Equipment in Connecticut in 1985. Ever since then he has been a part of the mobility industry, building and servicing a range of products for the handicapped.
After his time at Falcon Equipment he moved on to Target Industries. From there, he headed to Tri-State Mobility in Canton, OH. Finally, to Columbus, OH in 1994 to work for Access Able. In 2001, Scott made the decision to start his own mobility company. This decision was a direct result of seeing first- hand how companies mistreated and took advantage of their disabled customers. As a result, he took action to give the community another option.
Scott strives to provide quality service at the most affordable price possible and oversees all operational aspects of the company. Scott has spent the past decade building his company and reputation as a forerunner in the industry.
