Quality Assurance Requirements (1.0 - 1.2)
Columbus Mobility Specialists Inc. subscribes to the NMEDA Quality Assurance Program and is dedicated to assure that only vehicle, equipment and products meeting the standards of the program bear the NMEDA label and are offered for sale or distribution.
1.1.1
Prior to participating in the NMEDA QAP, Columbus Mobility Specialists Inc. is required to have completed and returned the QAP Confidential Questionnaire to NMEDA. This is a pre-requisite for program participation.
The quality assurance organization for Columbus Mobility Specialists Inc. is as shown in Appendix A. The Quality organization, which operates under the Quality Assurance Manager, has the responsibility for the inspection, testing and documentation required to maintain control of the modification process. The Quality Assurance Manager reports to the General Manager, and is also responsible for coordinating audit visits to Columbus Mobility Specialists Inc. by RADCO.
1.2.1 DEFINITIONS
As used in this manual, the General Manager is that person, however called, who maintains overall responsibilities for the day to day operations of the dealership.
As used in this manual, the Quality Assurance Manager is that person, however named, who maintains responsibility for the implementation and enforcement of the Quality Assurance Program.
1.2.2 AUTHORITY
The Quality Assurance Manager, in performing his responsibility to management for the assurance of acceptable quality, has the authority to interrupt or halt the installation / modification process when the guidelines and quality objectives of the program are not being met.
