The basic EZ Lock system consists of two primary components, one based in the vehicle acting as a receiver and the other mounted on the wheelchair.

EZ Lock even makes it possible to drive from a wheelchair when a front stabilizer is used to limit rocking or side to side movement (properly fitted lap and shoulder belts must be used to provide complete restraint). Simple controls with easy to press tactile switches mean that an attendant is not required to engage or release the system.
